TEAM STRENGTHS
Your team is full of capable, committed people. They still wait on each other's decisions, redo each other's work, and read each other's habits as attitude.
That isn't a talent problem. It's a language problem. Nobody has ever shown them how the people around them actually work.
A Team Strengths session gives them that language. Everyone takes the CliftonStrengths assessment beforehand. In the room, each person learns what their own results mean, then the team sees its results side by side: who spots the risk first, who builds the relationships, who needs the plan before they'll move.
Clarity × Connection = Commitment™ is a multiplication, not a list. A zero on either side zeros the result. Mission-driven teams are usually rich in connection and poor in clarity. This session turns goodwill into working knowledge of each other, and starts the clarity work: who is best placed to own what.
According to Gallup, employees whose manager focuses on their weaknesses have a 22% chance of being actively disengaged. When the focus is on their strengths, it drops to 1%.
Workshops & Training.
Empowering Leaders, Elevating Teams.
If your team has taken StrengthsFinder before and nothing changed, that's common. Results handed out without the team conversation rarely stick. That conversation is the session.
At NopaLeadership, we design engaging, Strengths-Based Workshops that help teams communicate better, work smarter, and lead with confidence. Whether you need a quick Lunch & Learn, a Deep-Dive Full-Day Workshop, or an Immersive Retreat, we will tailor the experience to meet your goals.
HOW IT WORKS
One session, in four steps. We bring CliftonStrengths, the framework and the structure. Your team does the talking.
1
Before
Everyone completes the CliftonStrengths assessment and receives a personalized handout.
2
The Foundation
What CliftonStrengths measures, what it doesn't, and why building on strengths beats fixing weaknesses.
3
Your Own Results
Each person unpacks their themes and how they show up in their work this week.
After: Depending on the option you choose, support continues for the team and its leader, so
what surfaced in the room becomes how the team works.

The Team’s Results
Most of the session lives here. Facilitated discussion and activities on the team's combined results: where it is strong, where it is thin, and where its friction actually comes from.
| Half day | Full day | |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 3–4 hours | 6–7 hours |
| CliftonStrengths results | Top 5 themes | All 34 themes |
| Best for | Board retreats, a first look at strengths | Staff retreats, teams ready to go deeper |
| Delivery | In person or virtual | In person or virtual |
| Investment | From $2,500 | From $5,000 |
Non-profit discounts are available on both formats. Each includes the CliftonStrengths assessment and personalized handouts for up to 10 people ($25 for each additional person). Either one can anchor a board or staff retreat; we build the rest of the day around it.
Three options for follow-through. Choose the session on its own, or add support after it for the team and its leader so the learning keeps going. We'll recommend the right fit on your consult.
Who It’s For
4
Staff teams, leadership teams and boards in non-profits and the organizations that serve alongside them, including cities and universities.
It's an ideal fit when:
A board or staff retreat is on the calendar
New people have joined and the team hasn't caught up to them
Your team took StrengthsFinder years ago and nobody remembers their results
You want to see how we work before committing to a year
It isn't the right fit if you need lasting change in how the team works across a year. That's The Connected Team Journey. If the gap is that your managers were never taught how to lead, start with The Connected Manager.
What Changes
In the weeks after the session:
People ask for help from the colleague whose strengths fit the task, by name
Someone says "that's my Deliberative talking" and the whole team knows what it means
Friction that used to read as attitude gets named as a difference in how people work
The leader knows who to hand what, and why
Your team leaves with a shared language and its own next steps, not a binder.
Where It Leads
One day is a strong start. It isn't a year. Many teams use the session as the first step into one of our two programs.
The Connected Team Journey: twelve months that turn what surfaced into a Connected Team Charter your team writes, with a before-and-after survey to show what moved.
The Connected Manager: for when the session shows the gap sits with the managers your team reports to.
Adding new members to a team that's already done this, or a single leader working with their own results? Ask about a Strengths Deep Dive.
